Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH)
Abstract
Fluor's use of propane dehydrogenation (PDH) technologies has become increasingly important to respond to industry shifts to seek and secure an on-purpose propylene production from low-cost propane. PDH and other chemical-related projects are overseen by a sponsor from Fluor's chemical technology team with strong leverage on project resources, along with similar PDH project experience and robust basic engineering and FEED execution capabilities.
Client Benefits
Fluor has developed a number of confidential PDH projects in recent years that have allowed us to work with the leading technologies in this field. Through these experiences, Fluor has had the opportunity to work with the major licensors for PDH technology. Thanks to our neutral technology stance, we have gained valuable knowledge that can be applied to new projects, regardless of the technology used.
