Executive Summary
Fluxys awarded Fluor basic design and front-end engineering and design (FEED) and project management consulting (PMC) services for a second jetty and fuel oil expansion of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Zeebrugge, Belgium.
Client's Challenge
Fluxys' goal was to expand the LNG Terminal at Zeebrugge with an extension of the fuel gas and an additional jetty, equipped with loading and unloading arms and related installations and piping to include an additional jetty able to load and unload LNG vessels from 2000m3 up to Q-flex.

Fluor's Solution
Fluor performed basic design, FEED and PMC services for Fluxys' LNG Terminal at Zeebrugge, Belgium. We assisted Fluxys in EPC tabulations from the different bidders. The maritime structure of the jetty and the trestle connecting the jetty to the LNG dam was built by the Port Authority of Zeebrugge, of which all technical details were in the FEED package. The project scope also included all installations and structures above level TAW+9,00.
Respecting the interfacing between "upper"' and "infra"-structure throughout the project was of the utmost importance to Fluxys.

Conclusion
The LNG terminal project was completed in 2015. We performed successfully as PMC contractor. The project was executed by our offices in Asturias and Madrid, Spain, with support from our office in Antwerp, Belgium.
