Fluor provides contingency operations and rapid response capabilities to the U.S. Military in remote locations around the world.  Fluor stands ready to support our military service members with logistics, base camp construction, housing, transportation, fuel, meals, laundry, recreation, and other support services.

Fluor provides worldwide contingency operations and logistics support to the U.S. Department of Defense through their designated military Agencies.  Fluor is actively engaged in Iraq and Afghanistan through the U.S. Army LOGCAP IV and USACE CETAC contracts and provides global contingency operations to U.S. Air Force through the AFCAP and HERC contracts and the U.S. Navy with the GCC contract.

Fluor provides EPC and program management services in these difficult and often remote operating environments.

By leveraging Fluor's extensive execution platform and personnel experienced in contingency operations, Fluor is able to respond rapidly to support the military anywhere in the world.  With a global footprint in 60 countries, Fluor can provide the resources needed to accomplish mission critical activities.

Disaster and Emergency Response Capabilities
For more than 20 years, Fluor has provided rapid response teams to support the U.S. Government during times of national disasters and emergencies.  Fluor's services have included public and technical assistance, program management, logistics, and temporary housing.

In 2005, after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita hit the Gulf Coast, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) looked to Fluor to immediately respond to the devastation and provide temporary housing to 160,000 displaced Louisiana residents.

Fluor's responses to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita are among the most defining projects in the company's history.  The company mobilized personnel from across Fluor business lines and diverse locations, deploying over 500 personnel in 72 hours and 1,000 additional staff within 30 days.
